For admins

This page is for the IT admin of a customer.

Odoo

1. Make 1 user per agent, for example abstrax-sales@your-company.com. Give it only the groups and the record rules that the agent needs. Abstr.ax adds no rights.
2. A portal user costs no Odoo license. An agent that must post internal notes needs an internal user.
3. As an administrator, make an API key for that user, with an expiry date of at most 1 year. On Odoo 19 and later, a key that a portal user makes expires after 1 day.
4. Give the key to Abstractive in the safe way that Abstractive tells you. Write down the expiry date, and make a new key before that date.
5. For odoo_export, give the user the right "Access to export feature" (base.group_allow_export). Odoo refuses an export without it.

Microsoft Entra

Abstr.ax uses 1 app of Abstractive for all customers. When your tenant blocks the consent of users for apps of other organizations, a global admin gives admin consent 1 time:

Replace <tenant-id> with the id of your Entra tenant. Abstr.ax asks only to log you in, to read your name and email address, and to keep the login valid.

Google

By default, Abstr.ax accepts only the Google Workspace accounts of your domain. Do your people use personal Google accounts with a company address? Then ask Abstractive to allow them. An admin of your company disables each person who leaves.

Access of people

An admin of your company manages the access at https://app.abstr.ax/admin. Log in there with your company account. Abstractive makes the first admin of your company.

• Add a person, and give or take away each agent for that person. A change works on the next call.
• Disable a person who must lose the access immediately.
• Read the audit log of your company: each call, with its arguments and its outcome. You can export it as CSV.

When a person leaves, also disable the account at Microsoft or Google. Abstr.ax asks Microsoft or Google again at each renewal of a login, so the access stops within 1 hour.

More companies with 1 email domain

An email domain can belong to more companies in Abstr.ax, for example a group with an Odoo database per company. 1 connection of a person of that domain holds all those companies, and the person is a member of each company separately: an admin gives the agents per company. The assistant names an agent as company.agent, for example acme-nl.sales.

Recipes

A proposed recipe works after an admin of your company approves it at https://app.abstr.ax/admin, without a new connection. The admin can disable the recipe again at any time.
